The Young Parliamentarians Forum (YPF) recently convened its Second Board meeting on 6th August, 2024 in NATIONAL ASSEMBLY OF PAKISTAN , led by President YPF, Syeda Nosheen Iftikhar accompanied by Vice President YPF, Makhdoom Zain Hussain Qureshi, General Secretary YPF, Nawabzada Mir Jamal Khan Raisani , Joint Secretary YPF Ayesha Nazir Jutt and Finance Secretary Muhammad Mobeen Arif Jutt . This platform was established in 2003, which aimed to empower young legislators under the age of 45, fostering their leadership skills and legislative capabilities. YPF serves as a cross-party network for 63 Young parliamentarians, promoting collaboration on youth-centric issues and advocating for policies that address the needs of the younger population in Pakistan. During the meeting, discussions centered on initiatives for youth empowerment, including education, employment, and environmental sustainability, aligning with broader national goals to strengthen democratic engagement and reform in the political landscape of Pakistan.
