While democracy is not without its challenges and imperfections, it remains a vital system for promoting freedom, justice, and the overall well-being of a nation and its people. The Young Parliamentarians represent the aspirations and dreams of millions of people across the country. These Young Parliamentarians have chosen a path of service, dedicating themselves to the noble cause of public welfare. In doing so, they carry the responsibility of shaping policies, making decisions, and creating the change our society desperately needs.

In this era of rapid change and complex challenges, the need for dynamic and visionary leaders like these MPs has never been greater. We face an array of pressing issues, from climate change and economic inequality to technological advancements and social justice. These challenges require innovative solutions, and it is made possible only through the collective intelligence and collaboration of these young parliamentarians across party lines.

To all the members of the forum, I urge to embrace the spirit of inclusivity, respect, and open dialogue within this forum. Engage in healthy debates, challenge each other’s perspectives, and seek to understand the diverse backgrounds and experiences represented here. Remember that progress is often born out of constructive discussions and the ability to find common ground. Seek to bridge the gap between generations, amplifying the voices of the youth, and ensuring that their concerns and aspirations are heard and acted upon.

In conclusion, I have immense faith in the potential of each and every one of the young Parliamentarian of this Forum. As the Patron-in-Chief of this forum I have witnessed the dedication and commitment of the member of this forum in highlighting the myriad social issues of youth and women empowerment, rights of persons with disabilities, climate change, child labour, child marriages, transgender rights, gender based violence and initiatives of youth empowerment. The Young Parliamentarians Forum serves as a platform for growth, learning, and forging meaningful connections. I have firm believe that together these MPs have the power to transform lives, uplift communities, and shape a brighter future for all.

May the journey of these young parliamentarians be filled with wisdom, resilience, and unwavering determination as the world is counting on their leadership.
